We are a veteran, family owned and operated business

15+ Years of Experience

Our Foundation

The foundation of our company starts with our grandpa and dad, back in 1999.  My grandpa and dad started a company here in the PNW with the goal to provide great service to people and build a family of customers.  For over 20 years they succeeded in building a great company, providing superior products and service to the community.

I started working for the family business in 2003 when I turned 16 years old.  I started out doing small things around the yard and learning what everything was in the fencing world.  My brother started when he turned 16 just a little over year and a half later.  We both loved working for the family business.

Over the years my brother and I went down different paths.  I (Josh) joined the army and spent three years serving my country and did one tour in Iraq.  After I returned, I decided that the army was not the best fit for me.  Once I left the army, I decided to go back to school in the pursuit of getting my BA degree in supply chain management and human recourse management.   Nick decided to take a break from the fencing world and took a great opportunity to be a supervisor in a city maintenance position.

After taking a couple years off from fencing we both ended back up at the family business.  We both loved working with our family and providing a great service to our community.  In 2017 I wanted to push the company into a different direction to help it grow.  My grandpa did not want to push the company in this direction, this is what lead to my brother I starting our own company in hopes to drive our business to being the best fencing company in the area.

The beginning of our own company.

Starting a business was not easy to say the least.  We had nothing but our skills and a little start up cash.  We got a free truck from our sister and husbands farm, which barely ran.  We bought a used homemade trailer that bounced if going slow.  So, with all our cash tied up in getting tools we both got jobs to help cover bills.  We both worked fulltime jobs while pushing our new business adventure.

Our first big break!  Jolan's Store All, I remember driving up to an empty field where two people were digging foundations for new storage units to be built.  I got out of my car and just walked out on site and started talking with the owner and interduce myself and my company.  At first, he was hesitant to go with us for his fencing needs, as we were new, and he had never heard of us.   He took the risk on us and was our very first customer.  At this point I knew that we could do this.

My brother and I both were able to quit our other jobs as we were finally busy with our business.  We still wanted to grow even more, and in order to do that we put everything we made back into the business.  We were finally able to upgrade some of our equipment.  We were able to buy a used truck and a new trailer. Keeping with the re-investing into our business, we were able to add a second truck and a dump trailer.  This made us feel grateful that what we were doing was working and being able to provide a service to people and we were on our way to building a family of customers.

In 2022 our grandpa pasted away; he was such a great mentor that we both looked up to over the years.  He truly gave back to the community that supported his dream of running his own business.  He served in the army, was a deputy sheriff, volunteered for the fire department, and was a member of the lion's club over the years.  Just a short time after the passing of our grandpa, our dad also passed away.  He was a role model for us growing up.  He had been in the fencing industry his whole life.  Starting out in a warehouse position.  After many years that's when he and his dad started their business adventure.  Both my dad and grandpa showed us that hard work and dedication you can do almost anything.  They will both be forever missed.

We were able to pick up another trailer.  This allowed for two crews to be running.  While this was a big step for us and scary, we knew this is what we wanted to do and have been pushing for from day one.  â€‹We have partnered with a small number of larger companies.  We have grown our business with the mindset to provide a great service at a great price.  This has allowed us to reinvest more into the business and provide work for others.  â€‹With the company ever changing to adapt to the changing world wither its fencing residential or industrial we have been able to overcome issues and new changes.  We have broken into the world of industrial fencing and have been loving working with these great companies and learning along the way.  I hope that we can continue these partnerships and be able to keep growing our business to keep providing a great service to the PNW.

2025 has been a good year and as a small business we have decided to better serve our growing community we are expending into light earth work and gravel spreading.   This lead to use purchasing a cat 305.  We hope that we continue to have the support of everyone that has been there with use this far and we welcome new people and business.   Thanks to everyone in our community.
